Seasonal Role: Christmas Tree Retail Assistant 2024
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding seasonal role working for a family-run farm in December.
Perfect for a student or even a self-employed gardener/landscaper looking for some winter weekend work. We have also have some weekday shifts available.
Must be available to work on the following days:
- Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December
- Saturday 7th December and Sunday 8th December
- Saturday 14th December and Sunday 15th December
- Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December (TBC).
The role involves the following:
- Serving customers and selling Christmas Trees.
- Ensuring constant restocking of trees, stock rotation.
- Working as part of a small team of seasonal sales staff on the Christmas tree area, under the management of our Farm Manager.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Candidate profile
Essential:
- Must be available for the above dates.
- Willing to learn about Christmas Trees and able to share this knowledge with our customers to help them find the perfect tree.
- Physically fit and enjoys manual outdoor work in all weathers. This is a physically demanding role.
- Fantastic ‘can-do’ attitude, lots of energy and able to motivate and encourage others.
Desirable:
- Previous Christmas tree/horticultural experience.
- Experience in customer facing or sales roles.
- Chainsaw licence a big bonus!
