Pastry Chef
We are recruiting for a pastry chef to join our Barn Kitchen team. The cafe/restaurant has an excellent reputation for handmade cakes and afternoon teas and has an extensive range all made in house from our own recipes.
The café has recently expanded and relaunched in November 2021 into the stunning new Barn Kitchen space. The business ethos is all about ‘plot to plate’ seasonal, sustainable, cooking, showcasing homegrown ingredients and top-notch local produce, in rustic but delicious dishes.
The site hosts an eclectic range of events including supper clubs, food festivals, weddings, cookery demonstrations, wine tastings, yoga brunch clubs, to name but a few.
Hours are likely to be shift based and include working weekends. We are considering part-time and full-time applicants for this role and there is plenty of room for progression.

Chef de partie
We are now recruiting for chefs to join our new Barn Kitchen Team. This could be a permanent role but we are also looking for seasonal chefs to join us May- September.
We are ideally looking for Chef de Partie level with experience of working with fresh, seasonal produce. An interest in pastry is desirable. However we will consider applicants with less experience.
The business ethos is all about ‘plot to plate’ seasonal, sustainable, cooking, showcasing homegrown ingredients and top-notch local produce, in rustic but delicious dishes.
Training and apprenticeships can be offered for the right candidates.
