Join us with our Head Butcher, Alex, for the next event in our Field to Block series – a live, whole-carcass butchery demonstration taking a locally reared lamb from field to butcher’s block.
Alex will break down the carcass cut by cut, explaining the different sections, traditional techniques, and how each part of the animal is used. You’ll get up close and personal, ask questions as you go, and gain a deeper understanding of full-carcass, zero-waste butchery.


All of our lamb is 100% grass-fed, sourced from local, high-welfare farmers, and this session will explore how farming, breed, and rearing impact flavour, texture, and the final cuts on the block.
Every attendee will receive a £20 butchery voucher to spend in our farm shop.
The evening runs alongside our After Hours: Wine and Cheese event in the Barn Kitchen, so stay on after the demonstration for a glass of wine.
